META Group

META Group’s latest METAspectrumSM report gives Cognos high marks in both presence and performance. Cognos received high ratings in several key categories including vision/strategy, awareness/reputation, investments, partnerships with systems integrators, market share, mind share, technology, execution, and geographic coverage.

The evaluation noted Cognos’ key strengths in data modeling, query and analysis, database security, ETL capability, and administration categories. Specifically, Cognos received a top rating of “excellent” in the Internet functionality and information delivery and reporting categories.
